We’re making waves in waterfront real estate

As real estate experts and waterfront lovers ourselves, we take the special needs of these properties seriously, whether you’ve already attained your waterfront goals andvare preparing to sell, or you’re still striving to find your lakeside oasis.

Buying a waterfront home

For lakeside living, the first thing you need is the right body of water. The Eastside is dotted with lakes that all have their own tight-knit communities, recreational amenities and home styles.

LAKE SAMMAMMISH

Over seven miles long, the lake stretches from Issaquah to Redmond. The southern portion of the lake is home to Lake Sammamish State Park, which includes nine public boat launches.

PINE LAKE

Originally a private resort, Pine Lake is now open to the public. The lake includes a boat launch and is stocked with brown and rainbow trout each spring.

PHANTOM LAKE

This quiet lake in Bellevue allows up to 12 non-motorized boats on the water at a time. The nearby walking trail provides a relaxing activity to do from the shore.

BEAVER LAKE

This quiet lake in Bellevue allows up to 12 non-motorized boats on the water at a time. The nearby walking trail provides a relaxing activity to do from the shore.

BEAVER LAKE

This private lake permits fishing and boating with electric motors. The beach is pet-friendly and includes a dock for easy access to the water.

When choosing the area you’d like to call home, be sure to consider your recreational needs. Will you need a boat launch or dock? Would you prefer a private lake? Based on your specific needs, we’ll work together to identify waterfront properties in your desired community with the amenities you prefer.

When you find a property you like, we’ll visit during an open house. At that time, we’ll work with you to see if the property matches your lifestyle needs such as the dock size, watercraft requirements and community rules.

Waterfront property maintenance

As much fun as it is to live on the water, there are some important things to consider when living in and maintaining a waterfront home. Here’s our streamlined checklist to get you started.:

Keep entry points clean of sand, dirt and other debris. Consider buying rugs or mats for high-traffic areas.

Check for mold and mildew, and quickly address any leaks.

Ensure adequate ventilation in all areas of the home. Use a dehumidifier inside if necessary to keep moisture levels low.

Utilize impact-resistant external doors and fiberglass windows for increased longevity.

Please reach out to us for referrals for any of your waterfront home needs. We
have a trusted roster of local vendors and retailers for watercraft, water toys
and dock accessories we’d be happy to recommend.
